We're not talking about a little redness—we're talking about downright blistering, dry-as-a-bone, peeling, cracking pain that makes you feel like your skin is going to fall right off.
Not only does it hurt like… well, like you've been burned by the sun, but it also makes you feel like a total loser. We all know the drill: wear sunscreen and reapply if we've been in the sun for a while. So why is it that every time we go on vacation we end up with an embarrassing lobster tan?
And what do we do once we finally get back from our sun-filled trip? Scour the internet for tips on how to treat our burn ASAP. If you're one of those people who have been struggling with sunburn treatment lately, here are some surefire remedies:
Use aloe vera gel to cool your skin
Apply aloe vera (or any other cooling lotion) as soon as possible after getting burnt. This will help keep your skin from drying out too much and will give it some much-needed moisture to help heal your burn.

Take a cold shower or use cold compresses—this will help relieve inflammation
